Delivery

 

Prior to ordering your House of Slim PTY LTD product, please ensure you consider where your items will be placed in the home, and any delivery obstacles present. These can include small entry ways, staircases, etc. A return delivery charge will be applicable and the customer is liable to pay for this return shipping back to the Sydney Warehouse, should delivery not be successful due to inadequate access. All product listings include the packaging dimensions for ease of placement. Customers must also be present at the agreed time of delivery and allow access to the Third Party Delivery service.
To arrange Collections/Pick Ups from our Sydney Warehouse, we kindly request a minimum of 3 business days' notice. Product delivery is contingent upon availability, so we recommend verifying availability and lead times with House of Slim who will request a custom freight quotation with a designated Courier. As a complimentary service, House of Slim facilitates transport booking and selects the suitable shipping mode and carrier based on your order and shipping location. Freight charges are separate and will be included in your invoice for full payment. We strive to secure the most competitive freight rates for the required transport method for each order.
In the event of a missed delivery, a re-delivery fee will be applied equivalent to the full value charged by the courier service. This fee can vary between $150 and $700 depending on the delivery location and the size of the delivery team required (2-man versus 4-man delivery). It is imperative to maintain communication with our Third Party delivery service, should unforeseen circumstances prevent your availability during the confirmed delivery timeslot. Please be aware that acceptance of delivery or collection of purchased goods must occur within 14 days of receiving the availability notification. Failure to accept delivery during the designated timeslot may result in cancellation and refund of your order by House of Slim PTY LTD, with a deduction for storage and restocking fees. Items designated for customer collection will be reserved for a period of 14 days from the notification date indicating that the order is ready for pickup, without any additional charges. Should you require an extension beyond this period, a holding/storage fee will be incurred at a rate of $50 per cubic meter (m3), with a minimum charge of 1 m3 per week, based on the itemized order. Please be advised that if there is no communication from the client, product holds will be automatically released after 4 weeks.
House of Slim conducts quality control (QC) with photos for all orders before pick-up to ensure they are in optimal condition prior to departure. Upon leaving ACR Supply Partners, House of Slim relinquishes liability for product condition during transport or delivery. Payment for invoice implies agreement to these shipping terms and acceptance of responsibility for items during transport and delivery. Please be advised that upon the arrival of products at your premises, immediate inspection is imperative, and any damages should be promptly documented on the delivery paperwork. It's important to note that House of Slim acts solely as a supplier, not the carrier, and any damages incurred in Transport are not the fault or responsibility of House of Slim. However, we are committed to aiding you in resolving any issues swiftly by providing you, the customer, with detailed statements and clear imagery of the goods prior to pickup to facilitate any claim process you may need to enter into. Additionally, we offer assistance in arranging repairs should you require them and, if applicable, replacements for orders covered by additional insurance directly purchased from House of Slim. We recommend that all reported damages are supported by clear photographs of the product and carton damages. It's crucial to understand that House of Slim cannot intervene in or assume responsibility for damages resulting from freight bookings arranged independently by the customer.

Our online store ships to both Australian Metropolitan Cities and regional areas. Delivery charges are determined by the shipment destination and the total volume of your order with House of Slim PTY LTD. Shipping fees are automatically calculated during the final check-out process for Metro locations, as well as certain Regional areas such as Byron Bay, Lennox Head, and Ballina. Should you need shipping to locations beyond these areas, please reach out to our Customer Service Representatives before placing your order.
